César Ordóñez

Born in Barcelona, had his first photographic exhibitions in the late 80s. In the last years, he took up again his personal works, establishing in Barcelona and Tokyo the bases where he develops his photographic and videographic projects. As a result of this exchange of ideas and experiences, the Nippon country is where he currently approaches to intimacy and leaves behind the superfluous, further than the dichotomy of east and west.

Based on an intuitive and open work that thinks over concepts like femininity, sensuality and fragility, César Ordóñez achieves several objectives. Firstly, to create his own style, clear and distinguishable, and secondly, gives us the keys to build our own story.

Nacido en Barcelona, realiza sus primeras exposiciones a finales de los años 80. En los últimos años, retoma su trabajo mas personal, estableciendo en Barcelona y Tokio las bases donde desarrolla sus proyectos. Fruto de ese intercambio de ideas y vivencias, y mas allá de la dicotomía oriente-occidente, es en el país nipón donde se acerca a lo mas íntimo y se aleja de lo superfluo.

En un trabajo abierto e intuitivo, en el que reflexiona sobre conceptos como la feminidad, la sensualidad y la fragilidad, César Ordóñez consigue diversos objetivos. Por un lado, plasmar un estilo propio, claro y diferenciable, y por otro, nos da las claves para que podamos construir nuestra propia historia.
